Sanyo PLV-Z2
I bought my Sanyo PLV-Z2 projector about six months ago. I use the projector solely for television and DVDs. I splash the image up on my wall, which is painted a light brown color. When I first bought the Sanyo PLV-Z2 I thought that I might have to paint the wall white or put up a screen on the wall. However, the image from the Sanyo PLV-Z2 is crystal clear and high quality. The 135W UHP projector lamp (model # POA-LMP69) is bright enough for me to watch television in the daytime with quite a lot of light flooding the room. And watching movies at night is actually my favorite thing – it really feels like you’re in a theater. As far as options go there are screen size adjustment options, and you can flip the image for ceiling mount or even for rear projection. You can adjust contrast, brightness, tint, white balance and you can even set the projector to grayscale for black and white viewing. There is also wide screen, normal and natural settings so that you can watch your selected media in whichever format your find suitable.
In the back the Sanyo PLV –Z2 projector has DVI-RGB inputs, S-Video, and regular audio, video component inputs.
Overall, I would recommend the Sanyo PLV-Z2 projector. I has a bright lamp that does not get too hot and an emergency shut down mode it if does. I have only played with a Sony Playstation 2 on it once and a Microsoft Xbox twice, but both times it was really cool and the picture was great.
